Yin Yoga & Earth Element of Chinese Medicine

Online Weekend Workshop
with Marcela Mota & Tobias Tang

During this weekend workshop you will learn about the 5 Elements of Nature, according to Chinese Medicine, diving deeper into the Earth Element, associated with the Later Summer season. We will look at its main characteristics, related organs, energy pathways, yoga poses, acupressure points and associated emotions.

You will also learn how to apply this knowledge into your Yin Yoga practice, exploring the poses that support this Element, so that you can tap into your own healing powers and bring balance to body, mind and self. We will break down the Earth asanas, how to perform them safely, their modifications and the use of props.

Late summer/Harvest is the time associated with the Earth Element, when the world is in an equilibrium of yin & yang energies. It invites us to cherish the Earth and welcome steadiness, balance, abundance and groundedness. This balanced energy reaches out into the world through expression of stability, connection and nourishment of the physical body. So come join us on this online weekend workshop and explore how to be in balance and centred within yourself and in your relations.
