Yin Yoga & Wood Element of Chinese Medicine

Online Weekend Workshop
with Marcela Mota & Tobias Tang

During this weekend workshop you will learn about the 5 Elements of Nature, according to Chinese Medicine, diving deeper into the Wood Element, associated with the season of Spring. We will look at its main characteristics, related organs, energy pathways, yoga poses, acupressure points and associated emotions.

You will also learn how to apply this knowledge into your Yin Yoga practice, exploring the poses that support this Element, so that you can tap into your own healing powers and bring balance to body, mind and self. We will break down the Wood asanas, how to perform them safely, their modifications and the use of props.

Spring invites us to plant new seeds and ideas, start new projects and blossom into who we truly are. Wood Element, therefore, represents the energy of growth and expansion. So come join us on this  online weekend workshop and learn how to remain flexible but engaged in these uncertain times, using the energy of the season to assist you in your vision, planning and decision making, essential for creative change.
